About the Opportunity
They are looking for a qualified lawyer with a PQE of 1-4 years to join the Corporate/TMT Team in Bengaluru as an Associate.
Eligibility
- Law Graduate
- 1-4 years of experience
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively with a team;
- Quick grasp of client’s business and leveraging business-understanding to deliver value to stakeholders;
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure;
- Flexible with occasional extended hours;
- Proactive & meticulous with attention to detail and reasonably punctual;
- Comfortable with occasional out-of-station travel for client meetings and other work-related events;
- Proactive team player.
Nature of Work
- Assist the team in conducting corporate due diligence and preparing executive summaries as well as detailed diligence reports.
- Draft, review, and negotiate investment agreements, shareholders’ agreements, subscription agreements, term sheets, undertakings, and other commercial contracts.
- Conduct and supervise research on diverse aspects of corporate and commercial laws.
- Manage corporate disputes, advise on regulatory issues, and support clients in transactions.
- Prepare periodic newsletters and other knowledge collaterals on behalf of the practice.
- Contribute to strengthening internal and external processes for the team and the firm.
- Support business development initiatives of the team and the firm, including representing them at conferences and seminars.
