About the Opportunity

Trumarx is hiring a Senior Legal Associate for a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru South. This role involves managing high-value intellectual property and contract law matters, providing strategic legal solutions, and guiding clients through complex filings, disputes, and negotiations.

Eligibility

• Education: LLB (Diploma/Specialisation in Trademarks preferred).
• Experience: 4–6 years in trademark/copyright prosecution, opposition, and hearings.
• Strong expertise in legal drafting and litigation support.
• In-depth knowledge of domestic IP laws, filing procedures, and registration systems.
• Proven ability to coordinate with domestic and international law firms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with IP management tools.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to continuous learning.

Nature of Work

• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Manage end-to-end filing and prosecution of trademark and copyright applications, including oppositions, counter-statements, and evidence submissions.
• Draft and review a variety of legal documents including contracts, notices, and affidavits.
• Represent clients in hearings before the Trade Marks Registry and other relevant authorities.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, documentation standards, and statutory deadlines.
• Oversee billing, debt collection, and case tracking processes.
• Mentor junior associates to uphold firm-wide quality standards.
