About the Opportunity
Fincity is hiring for the position of Legal Manager – Real Estate with 2 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in real estate legal work.
- Proficiency in Kannada (spoken and written).
- Strong understanding of real estate laws and Acts, especially in Karnataka.
- Experience in title due diligence and property risk assessment.
- Ability to independently handle end-to-end litigation and non-litigation matters.
Nature of Work
- Draft and review commercial agreements and deeds related to the real estate sector.
- Apply knowledge of Karnataka Land Revenue Act, Land Reforms Act, Stamp Act, RERA Act, and other land-related laws.
- Draft and vet MOUs, Joint Development Agreements, Agreements of Sale, Sale Deeds, Powers of Attorney, Procurement Agreements, and other documents for land acquisition, financing, and sales transactions.
- Provide legal support on contracts, employment matters, and intellectual property (IP) issues.
- Conduct title diligence, identify risks, and provide mitigation strategies.
- Manage both litigation and non-litigation matters, including initiating, defending, and resolving cases.
