St. Xavier’s University Kolkata is a Jesuit university located in New Town, Kolkata, India. It was established in February 2018 and inaugurated in July of the same year. Although run by the same Jesuit community which administers St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, the college, established in 1860, is independent of and not affiliated to St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata, but instead functions autonomously within the University of Calcutta.

Eligibility

Qualification:

(i) As per UGC norms.
(ii) Master’s Degree in Relevant Field with minimum 55% marks or equivalent and minimum 50% marks or equivalent in UG level
(iii) Ph.D. in the subject

Candidate Profile:

• The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
• The candidate should have excellent communication
• Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
• The candidate should have good research record
