About the Opportunity

Native has been mandated to hire a qualified lawyer with deep expertise in employment and labour laws to join us as Employment Counsel (India & APAC). This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of law, strategy, and people across multiple jurisdictions including India, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia.

Eligibility

1. Qualified solicitor with a law degree.
2. Ideally 6+ years of relevant experience in a top-tier firm or global in-house legal team.
3. Prior exposure to APAC region employment law is a strong plus.

Nature of Work

1. Act as a trusted advisor on India employment law and employee relations matters.
2. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on APAC employment issues.
3. Advise on complex hires, terminations, office expansions, and investigations.
4. Guide Human Capital on performance and disciplinary processes.
5. Lead employment law aspects of M&A and internal policy updates.
6. Support EMEA & APAC training, documentation, and policy development.
